Venue Change

Cocktails For a Cause is a Westchester fundraiser for the people of Haiti to be held on Friday January 29, at 7pm at Molly Spillaine’s Restaurant at 211 Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamaroneck.  It is a 5-minute walk from the Mamaroneck train station.  There is a suggested donation of $25 at the door in the form of a check to Partners In Health.  Ms Sajous Yergo asks that people give more if they can to this well respected charity.   Molly Spillaines will offer ½ price drinks and free appetizers.  There will be a raffle and a DJ as well.  There are no reservations required and the event is casual.

Partners In Health (PIH) works to bring modern medical care to poor communities in nine countries around the world. The work of PIH has three goals: to care for our patients, to alleviate the root causes of disease in their communities, and to share lessons learned around the world.

Based in Boston, PIH employs more than 11,000 people worldwide, including doctors, nurses and community health workers. The vast majority of PIH staff are local nationals based in the communities they serve.
